Casual Sex
Casual sex is basically a one time sex. The term casual here just means that there are no commitments. Normally it is with a person you do not even know, which is good and bad in several ways. Whether you prefer casual sex or not, is up to you – some people prefer it more than any other kind of relationship whereas many people think it is totally immoral and something that makes you feel like trash after a few times.

As is often known, there is never a relationship between a male and a female without a thought of sex involved at some stage. Therefore, whenever there is a possibility, many people want to indulge in sexual activity even if it is outside of their marital relationship. It makes it even more exciting for them to do it secretly with someone totally unknown.
The sexual encounters with total strangers is often not inhibited as there is a very little chance of ever meeting with each other again. Also, as casual sex is only a one time experience, one does not mind if it is not that exciting or does not fall for the person if it is really great. It is this feeling of no commitments, that makes casual sex so appealing to many singles. It is the anonymity factor that makes casual sex so appealing to people who are already in a relationship with someone else.
There are many websites that help provide information of people who would want to hook up for a one night stand. Sometimes, you can meet people in a different town or location and you might be able to find someone interesting to get involved with for a one time casual sex.
Is it good?
Since casual sex requires no commitments, it might be a great way for people to experience sex with no inhibitions. This allows people to discover their own sexual identity. It also provides “variety” which can help them to improve upon their sexual relationship with their real partners. Some people find it hard to be in a full time relationship with someone as they do not like any emotional strings attached which is what they can find with casual sex.
Is it bad?
It all depends who you ask this question and we will try not to delve into its moral aspects. However, from the medical perspective, it is extremely dangerous to have sexual encounters with strangers because they might be carriers of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), even HIV/AIDS. Unfortunately, many times people who might have HIV/AIDS are themselves not aware of it and can spread it easily to everyone they might have unprotected sex with.
It has also been seen that there are some people who after having discovered a vulnerability of a person, start blackmailing that person. The intention of such people is often to coerce some money or force a person into prostitution.
When you invite someone for a casual sex, or go to someone else’s place, you may not know what you might really face. There might be chances that when you expected only one person, there might be a whole group of people waiting to rape an unsuspecting woman.
Some experts cite long term psychological impacts especially on the women. Since there are no commitments in casual sex, a girl might develop a feeling of just being “used” by many people. This might lead to depression and difficulty in having a serious relationship with anyone else in the future.
