Is iPad Good for Teenagers?
Apple has always been raising the bar for the competition and it did again with the launch of the iPad. With the first generation of iPads out for some time, the launch of a new and much modified version should be just around the corner.
The iPad is one such tool that is very useful for the teenager and would only become better when the new version, hopefully with a front facing camera, is launched.
The iPad does not need a mouse or a keyboard. It is a great tool to browse the net, chat with friends, read books, interact on the social networks like Facebook, listen to the music or watch videos – all the activities that the teenagers are so fond of doing!
An iPad is also quite handy to carry around. It is not as small as an iPhone neither as bulky as a notebook or even a netbook. An iPad is just like a thin light book that is easy to carry and use. Above all, an iPad is very affordable. Since it is designed for the above activities in mind, it allows the user to have the best experience using it.
If you want to do some serious programming, of course an iPad would not be a good choice. In that case having a notebook computer or a desktop PC might be a better choice.
A big drawback, according to many people, in the current version of iPad is the lack of a camera. It is widely anticipated that Apple is going to include a camera in the next version of iPad besides many other enhancements. The current iPad in the market is in its first phase and Apple is known to make significant enhancements in its product after the first phase. Obviously, Apple does not announce when a new version of iPad will be available.
The iPad on the whole is a great tool for the teenagers.
